The exam: the IASSC Certified Six Sigma Black Belt exam™ (ICBB™) Exam is a 4-hour 150 question, closed book, proctored exam. The Exam contains approximately 30 multiple-choice and true/false questions from each major section of the ILSSBOK for Black Belts. Certification fee is not included in the course fee. How many times can I retake the exams?
IASSC™ Examinations cannot be taken more than once within a 2-week period and cannot be taken more than a total of three times with a 3-month period. ATA application candidates are allowed only 1 retake attempt. ATA candidates that have failed both their original exam attempt and their retake can reapply for Accreditation 6 months after the original application submittal but not earlier. (Note that an Accredited Training Associate (ATA) is an instructor who delivers Six Sigma training as a sole proprietor or as a contractor or an employee of an Accredited Training Organization or Accredited Deployment Program and meets the IASSC criteria to receive such designation.
